This group is for children ages 2- 3 1/2! This group has both a child and parent focus and meets every Tuesday and Thursday morning. We will have activities for the children as well as time for the parents to all meet! The child focus is a practical application of motor, language, and social skills in a peer-supported environment. The parent focus is opportunities to gain knowledge of various strategies to help support your child! The instructors are Adrienne Sumney and Ashley Wingo!
This group is for girls who are homeschooled ages 9-15. We will work on social skills within the group by practicing age-appropriate activities. We will also explore hobbies that your child may participte in outside of group!
This an Annual Event. It is The Hangout Group Member's night to remember to be Thankful for our friends and family....and have dance offs.
Our Holiday Party is such a fantastic event. Ugly sweaters, White Elephant Gift Exchange and lots of laughter!
One of the goals of this program is to give girls the tools to build confidence in themselves. Throughout the sessions, we will have interactive activities to engage the girls and allow them to build positive, meaningful relationships with each other. Ages 13-21
This group is for boys who are homeschooled, ages 8-14. We will work on social skills within the group by practicing age-appropriate activities. Another goal is to learn healthy choices and we will be doing this by participating in different types of exercises and sports.
We will focus on strengthening our conversation skills. We will practice skills like speaking up when we have something to share, initiating conversations with others, and playing games that will us respond with multiple word answers. We will also work on skills such as learning the social cues of others, appropriate media and phone usage, and anything else they want to discuss!
This program is for young adults! We will meet at Mason bowl every Friday and bowl together as a team.
VP Moves Classes are 60 minutes of high-intensity interval training, fitness,
strength training, and games. VP Walking Club is a 60 minute class that includes a
warm-up & stretching, followed
by walking and sharing of ideas,
feelings, and thoughts. Our VP Flow Classes are 45 minutes of yoga with an
additional 15 minutes dedicated
to cardiorespiratory training
(walk/run).
