Kristin Fox is the Founder and Director of You've Got This LLC. Since her son was born, she's been part of the community of families who start out with a diagnosis and a mountain of anxiety but then grows into their child's greatest advocate. She's fought for services, asked for revisions to ETRs and IEPs. She's gotten those calls from teachers, and tries to balance work, life and constantly scheduling "med check" Dr appointments, and the rest of the family schedule. She's worked with the Intervention Specialist, psychologists, SLPs and OTs to decide on inclusive or adaptive learning classes. She's partnered with job coaches and the staff at OOD and WCDD to help with career planning and on-the job training.
In summary, yeah, she gets it. She's been there. She knows what you're going through. But she also knows the power of the network of families of children who don't take no for an answer.
But she's also worked at Easter Seals of Greater Cincinnati where she was a skills trainer and job coach for ProjctSEARCH at the Warren County Government Campus and Otterbein Senior Life Community.
