This will be adapted to highlight the participants’ strengths and practice emerging skills. The goal is that participants will begin building the skills they will need to gain, obtain and maintain a job in the community in the future. The program will create an environment that simulates the expectations an employer will expect from an employee. We will provide hands-on experiences focusing on time management, workplace etiquette, following dress codes and employer requirements, following checklists, self advocating when needing help as well as other hard and soft social/life skills. Our team will introduce these skills, participants will practice these skills and will begin to develop important employability skills.
Ages 15-21 ● 2 days a week for 5 weeks - Tues, Thurs ● 10:00 - 2:00 PM ● 4 campers per session
